Brand new Big Ten logo increases twelve teams into the iconography

The Big Ten conference is the largest Division 1 athletic conference in the nation. The Big Ten began as the Big Nine. For the last few years, teams have been added. In 2011, the Big Ten can be twelve teams, but the new Big Ten emblem has been simplified. They possibly had to take out a pay day loan to finance changing an entire logo.

Big Ten's emblem to change

Monday, the brand new Big Ten emblem was revealed. It showed that putting numbers in the text will no longer happen. The number 11 was in the Big Ten emblem when 11 groups were in the Big Ten. The designers of the Big Ten logo picked a simpler option than trying to integrate 12 into the logo with the twelve groups. Now the "Big Ten" logo is very simple. Both "big" and "ten" are used, and that is it. In "Big," the "I" and "G" is accentuated. This implies the number 10 in it. The logo is very easy and simple. It might be reproduced almost anywhere.

The Big Ten emblem has to be used

The new Big Ten emblem integrates the logos of the 12 groups in two groups. You will find right now six individuals in each team. This includes the "Legends" and the "Leaders" in it. The "Legends" and "Leaders" team logos are incorporated into some of the choices for the brand new Big Ten logo. There are 10 possibilities to choose from. There is a lot of compromise going on. That is what the new Big Ten logo is about. It does not matter that millions — if not billions — of dollars are involved in the issue considering it is college football with the Big Ten emblem.

What’s the difference between the Big Ten and the Big twelve?

Adding a 12th member made the Big Ten conference consider a name change. Changing to the Big 12 would have been the change. However, the Big 12 conference already exists. There are 12 total members within the Big Ten conference now. Ironically though, you will find going to only be 10 members within the Big 12 conference soon. The new Big Ten emblem integrates all 12 members but does not change the name.
