Bret Michaels has proposed to his long-time sweetheart Kristi Gibson. This is after 16 years of on-again, off-again dating and 2 kids. Michaels got on one knee and proposed to Gibson while they were filming his reality show. The rest of the episode focused on the fact it was the couple’s anniversary. The pair has not yet set a wedding date, but info is soon to follow. This wedding might require the use of a payday loan to plan it right.
Bret Michaels will be getting married shortly
Whether or not Bret would propose to his sweetheart in the VH1 show “Bret Michaels: Life as I know it,” was what the whole finale was about. An on again, off again relationship as what Bret Michaels and Kristi Gibson had. It lasted 16 years too. The couple also has 2 children together, 10 year old Raine and 5 year old Jorja. The pair is now to be married to be married as Kristi said yes to a proposal from Michael.
What Bret Michaels did for the engagement
The engagement that ended with Michaels to be married surely had a rocker twist to it. He made some comments. He said, “I bought you that ring, not to be a friendship with benefits… we’ve had that for a while. It’s just one of those things. I love you and I respect you and you’ve been through so much with me. It means something to me.” Though their relationship has been off-again at times, Kristi Gibson has been present at Michaels side during his 2 stints in the hospital earlier within the year, and the pair are both very committed to parenting their kids together. Michaels also referred to his forthcoming heart surgery during his engagement, asking “if it does not work out and I die during the operation, will you roll my ashes and smoke me?”
Engagement uncommon for Bret Michaels
Michaels and Kristi Gibson are not at all following trends in their relationship even though they have been together for 16 years. As relatively financially well-off individuals, the two were uncommon for the fact they had kids and remained together — only about 6 percent of kids born outside marriage are born to parents who have college degrees or high net worth. Both of them are statistically unusual with the wedding ahead as most don’t marry the parent of the child they have.
