Shear Genius is a competition involving hairstyling. Just a little bit of controversy has been stirred up by season 3's Shear Genius winner on Bravo.

Whether she deserved it or not, Brig is getting the Shear Genius winner prize of $ 100,000 in quick cash prize cash and a photo shoot for Allure Magazine.

The elimination challenge typically has a theme the competitors must style hair to match, and then the styles are sent down the runway to be judged by a panel.

On Shear Genius, winner Brig became known as the drama-bucket of the show. Throughout the show, she wore huge bows, worked just as often for the drama rather than the win, and typically ended up being the center of controversy. Within the end, Brig's buns with extensions won even though the other two finalists, Matthew Morris and Janine Jarman, were much more liked by fans.
