Shear Genius winner as Brig takes all of it

Shear Genius is a competition involving hairstyling. Just a little bit of controversy has been stirred up by season 3's Shear Genius winner on Bravo.

Whether she deserved it or not, Brig is getting the Shear Genius winner prize of $ 100,000 in quick cash prize cash and a photo shoot for Allure Magazine.

Shear Genius winner : Brig

Brig was obviously not the best hairstylist on Shear Genius. Brig was, however, the best reality show competitor on Shear Genius. Winner positions on reality shows have a tendency to go to the competitor that provides the best TV, not necessarily probably the most skilled.

It appears that it would make more sense for Brig, with her crazy outfits and large hair bows, would be the Genius Winner prize and won't have to borrow instant money to help with her big bow addiction.

Shear Genius and the way it works

Shear Genius is a TV show that is much like Top Chef and Project Runway, with a hairstyling theme. Every week the changers are given one short cut challenge where they aren't eliminated and one elimination challenge.

The elimination challenge typically has a theme the competitors must style hair to match, and then the styles are sent down the runway to be judged by a panel.

The drama surrounding Brig

On Shear Genius, winner Brig became known as the drama-bucket of the show. Throughout the show, she wore huge bows, worked just as often for the drama rather than the win, and typically ended up being the center of controversy. Within the end, Brig's buns with extensions won even though the other two finalists, Matthew Morris and Janine Jarman, were much more liked by fans. Many individuals think the "triumph over adversity" story by Briggs was pushed too much.

No matter what the reasons, Brig talked herself onto the show, then worked her way up to become the winner of Shear Genius.
