New show hosted by Conan O'Brien debuts on TBS

Great controversy surrounded O’Brien leaving "The Tonight Show" previously this year. Conan’s followers, or "Team Coco," were highly visible in showing their assistance for O’Brien. It didn’t take long to discover a new job for him. Shortly after he left NBC, a new show for O’Brien was announced for TBS. The first episode airs on Mon, November 8.

Conan O'Brien and also the first TBS episode

Not long after Conan O’Brien left NBC in January after “The Tonight Show” had been nearly bumped to accommodate Jay Leno, speculation grew rampant over what his next move was. It has been common knowledge since April that he would be pushing back the George Lopez Show for a spot on TBS. "Conan" became the name of the future show on TBS. Since then, promotional spots have been constantly running, and fans have been patiently waiting for the first episode. CNN puts this new show airing at 11 p.m. on Nov 8. People who are declaring that “I’m With Coco” should check their local listings should there be any confusion over channel and airtime.

Controversy between O'Brien and Leno isn't over yet

Conan O'Brien was passed "The Tonight Show" from Leno back in June of '09. The "Jay Leno Show" didn't fare also as he had hoped and had been slowly dying. There has been no verification of why he really left the tonight show, but many people assume it was due to his show being bumped back to an hour later time slot. Leno was a longtime star of NBC. O’Brien decided to walk away, but had to mostly stay off television for at least six months.

The rubber meets the road

Everyone is expecting the brand new show to live up to its expectations. Those who were waiting so long for this show have high expectations and can't wait for the debut.
