Tea Partier creates about how Obama took Christmas

From the ashes of Election 2010 comes a Tea Partier named Hedrick. He’s feeling really Grinch-like. He did not win in Washington State, however he has written an illustrated children’s holiday yarn called "The Liberal Claus(e): Socialism on a Sleigh". As Newser puts it, this can be a classic "How Obama Stole Christmas" story where the thinly-disguised Barry the Liberal Claus, Mrs. Lichelle Claus, Elf Peloosi and Mr. Snore steal Christmas. The children of the Tea Party eventually conserve the day, with a little help from that hallowed document, the Christmastution.

Christmas stolen by Obama for $twenty

Barry the Liberal Claus borrows places where he can "eliminates toy specialists and commits other atrocities." This is because the North Pole Treasury is Bankrupt, the Portland Mercury reports Hedrick saying. The Tea Party boys and girls turn out to be in charge following the elves Barry flees to leave Christmas after elves wave copies of the christmastution in his face. The underlying message, said Hedrick, is “Never forget that free goodies from liberal elves often come at a price.”

Everybody can see what's happening with satire

America's youth tends to be indoctrinated in a more liberal sense. Many say that although Hedrick wrote "The Liberal Claus(e): Socialism on a Sleigh" as a way of changing that, many say it’s inappropriate. Nicholas Humphrey, Daniel Dennett and Richard Dawkins all say that it’s inappropriate to teach kids about politics or religion although philosophers would say they go together. A biologist, Dawkins, gives an example. Labels are in this. Being a "Christian child" is different than being a "child of Christian parents." This is significant to recognize. According to Wikipedia:

"Dawkins hopes the phrase will even make kids aware that belief is not something that is inherited automatically like eye color; that they don’t have to follow within the religious footsteps of their family. He has tried to raise people’s consciousness of this matter, and hopes that phrases like ‘Christian child’, ‘Muslim child’, or ‘atheist child’ will ‘grate like fingernails on a blackboard.’"

David Hedrick's "The Liberal Claus(e): Socialism on a Sleigh" doesn't have sales numbers yet. Nobody knows if it will strike a chord or end up being an issue for children.
