McMillan and the Rent is Too Damn High party grab spotlight

Jimmy McMillan is becoming a viral video sensation. He is creating quite a stir. Carl Paladino and Andrew Cuomo were the major attractions in the New York governor debate, but they were both well upstaged by McMillan. McMillan is running on the Rent is Too Damn High party ticket. Though Cuomo and Paladino are one of the most likely individuals for making it to office, the spotlight was ripped off at moments by some colorful third-party candidates. Davis, the madam who arranged Ashley Dupre for Eliot Spitzer, has also thrown her hat in the ring.

McMillan makes the program amazing

For all the grandstanding from other third party individuals, the most notable was Jimmy McMillan. The platform that McMillan is running on is Rent Is Too Damn High, accounts the newest York Daily News. The main point the party wants to make is that rent, especially in New York City, is exorbitant. Should rent prices come down, all other problems will diminish if not disappear, McMillan contends. In the Vietnam War, McMillan was a veteran. Due to Agent Orange, he says, he always is wearing black gloves. He gave his response on gay marriage too. He said, “if you need to marry a shoe, I’ll marry you,” as his response. He won’t say anything bad about the other individuals because he is “a karate expert”.

Colorful individuals

There were other colorful candidates at the brand new York governor debate. Besides the wildly inflammatory rhetoric of Paladino, there had been also Kristin Davis. Davis did some matchmaking supposedly. This made it so a girl named Ashley Dupre and Eliot Spitzer got together. Davis is running on the Anti-Prohibition ticket, which is a intensely Libertarian platform. She advocates legalizing marijuana, prostitution and gambling to raise right away needed revenue.

Cuomo comes out on top

In order to seem like he was sane, Andrew Cuomo just had to view everybody else pass by him. There’s a issue that needs to be fixed. That is the state spending budget problem. Paladino is a Tea Party preferred, however has alienated some voters with inflammatory rhetoric.
